Why this line exists
The fieldwork is only worth doing if it ends up in something people can hold and use on the road. This line turns 123 documented springs into a square hardcover field record and a 6×9 carry-on guide to a selected 99 — printed properly, colour-managed, and shipped to the people who funded it.
When it is spent: Spent after the field season, once entries are verified and the edit is locked.
What it produces
- →A printed hardcover record of every documented spring
- →A carry-on guide to 99 springs that works in the field
- →Copies delivered to backers, sponsors and contributing landowners
Itemised costs
Published at estimate stage and reconciled against real invoices once spent. Nothing here is a rounded marketing number.

What a sponsor receives
- Named on the sponsors page of both printed titles
- Copies of both books for the sponsor's team or clients
- Logo and link on the contributors page and the funding line page
Sponsorship never buys an entry, a placement, a rating or a safety finding. Every credit is disclosed in the book, the archive and on the contributors page.
If this line is only partly funded
A short print line means the carry-on guide prints first and the hardcover run is reduced, not cancelled. Sponsor and backer copies are honoured before general stock.

Questions sponsors ask
Answered the same way we answer them by email.
Can a sponsor place content in the book?
No. Sponsors are credited; they never receive entries, placement, ratings or a safety finding.
What if the field season is cut short?
The books publish with what was verified, clearly stating coverage. Nothing unvisited is presented as documented.
Other funding lines
