Who We Are

Two people, one vehicle and a long list of springs. 123 Iceland is a small independent field project, not a tourism agency and not a content farm.

The team

Small on purpose. Everything published carries a name and a date, and corrections are logged in public.

Adam

Expedition lead · publishing and partnerships

Plans the route, secures landowner and authority permissions, and runs the publishing side of the project — the books, the archive and the sponsor programme.

Every entry that reaches print passes through a second on-site visit before it is called verified.

Ana

Field documentation · records and imagery

Handles the field record: measurements, access notes, photography and the condition of each site as we find it.

Keeps the private archive consistent so the public pages can stay accurate without exposing fragile locations.

Get the field dispatch

Short updates from the road while the survey is running: springs measured, access won or lost, weather, corrections and what the next leg costs. No selling, and you can leave at any time.

This survey runs on funded mileage.

Sponsors cover getting to sites, permissions and verified documentation. Editorial judgement and safety findings are never for sale.
